How to Redeem Girls' Frontline 2 Codes
Gear menu, Personal Information, Redeem Code, then the drone mailbox.
Redeeming a Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium code is a short menu path, but most failed attempts are not typos. The button is locked until the tutorial is done, the string is case-sensitive, and Darkwinter codes often bounce on Haoplay UIDs. Use this page as the mechanical checklist. The live string lives on the codes hub. Anything already burned is on expired codes.
The game is free to play on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android. Pick a publisher before you bind an email. Darkwinter / Sunborn and Haoplay do not share accounts, mailboxes, or code inventories. Steam is the Haoplay client. If you installed the wrong store, no redeem form will move the UID.
Before you type anything
- Finish the opening tutorial through the early story beats so the home screen exists. The Redeem Code control is not on the title screen.
- Confirm the publisher logo on boot. Darkwinter and Haoplay skins look similar enough that people bind the wrong one.
- Copy the code from a trusted list. Do not retype 10-character hashes from memory.
- Stay on the home screen. You cannot redeem from a battle, a gacha animation, or the login queue.
If you are still deciding whether the account is worth keeping, read getting started and the reroll guide first. Codes are one-time per UID. Resetting after a redeem wastes the gift.
In-game steps (every publisher)
- Open Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium and wait on the home screen.
- Tap the gear in the bottom left corner. That is Settings, not the warehouse.
- Open Personal Information.
- Tap Redeem Code in the bottom right of that panel.
- Paste the string exactly. No spaces before or after. Leave the original capitalization.
- Confirm. A success toast is not the reward; it only queues mail.
- Close the panel and tap the drone icon mailbox. Claim Collapse Pieces, Sardis Gold, Combat Reports, Analysis Blueprints, Access Permissions, Targeted Access Permissions, or Memory Sticks from there.
Mail can lag a few minutes. Official posts have also mentioned delays up to a day after a busy livestream. Do not redeem a second time while you wait. The second attempt will return “already used” even if the first package is still in transit.
Darkwinter website redeem
Darkwinter commanders can redeem on the official website with UID plus captcha instead of opening the gear menu. Copy the UID from Personal Information, open the Darkwinter site listed on official links, paste the code, solve the captcha, and submit. Rewards still arrive in the in-game mailbox. Haoplay and Steam players should not use that form. A Haoplay UID on a Darkwinter page is a silent reject, not a transfer.
Never paste a UID into a third-party “generator.” The official site is the only web redeem that should ever see that number.
Rules the client actually enforces
- Case-sensitive.
GFL2ANNIis notgfl2anni. - One-time per account. Alts are separate UIDs. Sharing a code in Discord does not consume your copy until you redeem it.
- Tutorial gate. If Personal Information has no Redeem Code button, you are not far enough in the story.
- Publisher lock. Many codes are Darkwinter-only or Haoplay-only. The error text often looks the same as an expired code.
- No inventory dump. Everything lands in mail. If the warehouse looks unchanged, open the drone.
What to do after a success
Collapse Pieces are premium currency. Do not convert them on impulse during Chiral Redundancy if you still need Targeted Access Permissions for a later banner. Check current banners and run the numbers in the pity planner before you tap convert. New accounts should finish the beginner banner (50 pulls, 10-pulls at eight tickets, guaranteed Elite) before limited rate-ups.
Sardis Gold, Combat Reports, and Analysis Blueprints belong on the Dolls you will actually field. Use who to pull, best Dolls, and weapons and builds so a code does not fund a bench unit. Then spend the day’s stamina with the daily checklist and farming resources instead of sitting in the redeem box.
Common errors and the real cause
Invalid code. Typo, extra space, or the string was never for your publisher. Compare against the hub, then stop after one retry.
Expired / already used. Either you claimed it, or the whole region burned through the window. Check the expired codes list before you assume the menu is broken.
Button missing. Tutorial incomplete, or you opened a sub-menu that is not Personal Information. Return to the home screen and use the bottom-left gear.
Mail empty. Wait, then reboot the client. Rewards do not appear in the warehouse first.
Steam redeem failed on a phone. You are on two publishers. Steam is Haoplay. A Darkwinter Android install is a different account.
If the live code still fails after those checks, leave it. Exilium codes are designed to vanish. Come back to the codes hub after the next official broadcast rather than brute-forcing the same string. The commanders who redeem once, claim the drone mail, and go back to tiles lose less time than the ones who live in the captcha page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers commanders actually search for.
Where is the Redeem Code button?
Home screen, gear in the bottom left, Personal Information, then Redeem Code in the bottom right. It does not appear on the title screen or inside battles.
Can Haoplay or Steam players use the Darkwinter website?
No. Website redeem is for Darkwinter UIDs with captcha. Haoplay and Steam commanders should stay in the client. The two publishers never share accounts.
Why did a correct code still fail?
Most often the string is publisher-locked or already expired. Codes are also case-sensitive and one-time per UID. One failed attempt is enough; retrying will not change the publisher.
How long until rewards arrive?
Usually a few minutes in the drone mailbox. Busy livestream windows can delay mail. Do not redeem again while you wait or the second tap will look like a duplicate.
Do codes work before the tutorial ends?
No. You need the home screen and Personal Information. Clear the opening story beats first, then redeem, then spend tickets on the beginner banner.
