Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is one game with two global publishers. Sunborn developed it. Darkwinter / Sunborn and Haoplay each run their own accounts, stores, and often their own codes. There is no transfer. This Links Hub is the bookmark page for official sites and socials, plus the warning that belongs above every download button: never bind the wrong publisher.
Global mobile and PC launched 3 December 2024 on Darkwinter and 5 December 2024 on Haoplay. Steam launched 11 February 2025 on the Haoplay app. The game is free to play on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android. If a friend sent you a store link, check the publisher name on the boot screen before you attach an email, Google Play, App Store, or Steam wallet.

- Official Haoplay site — Haoplay client and English news. Steam and many EU / LATAM / JP / KR / TW players belong here.
- Steam Haoplay store page — app 3308670. This is Haoplay, not Darkwinter. A Steam UID will not redeem on the Darkwinter website.
Darkwinter coverage is commonly North America, much of Southeast Asia, Australia, and Africa. Haoplay coverage is commonly Europe, Latin America, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Region stores can still surprise you. Trust the client logo after install more than a wiki sentence. If the logo is wrong, uninstall before you bind.
Community and broadcasts
- Official Discord (gfl2) and Official Discord (gfl2-exilium) — livestream codes, maintenance, and channel roles. Join the one that matches the publisher you play; mixed advice in general chat is how Haoplay UIDs end up on Darkwinter forms.
- Darkwinter English on X and Haoplay / EXILIUMGL on X — banner clocks, redeem strings, and preview-program times. Follow both if you read news, but redeem only on the account you own.
- Official YouTube — patch recaps and code comments under the video. Stream hashes often expire the next day.
- Official Facebook — the same posts in a slower feed, useful if X is not available on your network.
Do not paste UID, login tokens, or screenshot-bar codes into unofficial “redeem bots.” The only web form that should see a Darkwinter UID is the official Darkwinter site. Haoplay commanders redeem in-client. Steps are on how to redeem codes.
How to choose — and how not to switch later
- Install from the store that matches your region and platform. Steam is Haoplay by definition.
- Finish the tutorial on that UID. Codes, banners, and mailbox wait until then.
- Bind the publisher’s official account tools, not a third-party launcher overlay.
- Bookmark this page and the codes hub for that publisher only.
- If you already bound the wrong one, stop spending. A second install is a second account. There is no migration ticket.
Codes are frequently Darkwinter-only or Haoplay-only. A string that works for a friend on Android Darkwinter can fail on your Steam Haoplay UID even when it is still “live” on a blog. Try the live row on the codes hub once, then move on. Dead holiday strings are archived under expired codes.
Wiki map after you are on the right client
New commanders: getting started, then the beginner banner notes in reroll only if you enjoy resetting. Spend tickets with gacha pity and who to pull. Build the grid with combat tiles before you blame the roster.
Live patch: Updates Hub, current banners, Chiral Redundancy, and patch history. Tools: pity planner and daily checklist. Roster: players, best Dolls, team comps, weapons and builds. Tiers: tier list, DPS, supports. Farming and guild board: farming resources, Platoon and Gunsmoke, plus the rest of the guides hub and tools hub.
Platoon is a guild. Gunsmoke Frontline is a guild raid-like mode. Neither is a reason to install a second publisher “to play with a friend.” If your friend is on the other publisher, you are on two different games that happen to share art.
Keep the official Discord invite that matches your boot logo, mute the other publisher’s code channel, and treat every random “working codes” screenshot as suspect until it matches this wiki’s live table. Which official site should I use?
Darkwinter / Sunborn players use gf2exilium.sunborngame.com. Haoplay and Steam players use gf2.haoplay.com. Mixing them is how UIDs get typed into the wrong redeem form.
Is the Steam version Darkwinter?
No. Steam app 3308670 is Haoplay. Redeem in the Haoplay client. The Darkwinter website will not pay that UID.
Can I move an account between publishers?
No. Darkwinter and Haoplay never transfer progress, mail, or purchases. Bind once. If you installed the wrong store, that UID stays there.
Which Discord should I join?
Use the official invites on this page and pick channels for the publisher you actually play. Livestream codes in the other publisher’s chat will fail on your UID.
Where do I redeem a code after I am on the right client?
