Phase cores you can field without owning every limited Elite.

Team Compositions

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium teams are Phase-based. You win by stacking Corrosion, Electric, Freeze, Hydro, or Burn — plus cover, Stability breaks, and Confectance — not by mixing five unrelated S-tier portraits. This page is a Global snapshot for Chiral Redundancy / late August 2026. Meta shifts. Names below are cores, not museum checklists. You do not need every limited Doll to clear story, events, or Platoon modes such as Gunsmoke Frontline.

This sits under the Dolls Hub. Pick names with Best Dolls, gear them with Weapons and Builds, and sanity-check letter grades on the Tier List Hub. Pulling a missing piece is Who to Pull. Tile mistakes will fake a “bad team”: read Combat Tiles.

Suomi flexes onto many of these cores as the standout Support. That is a convenience. It is not a requirement to own her before you play Electric or Burn.

How to read a core

Each block lists a carry, enablers, and budget swaps. Staff four or five Dolls around the carry. If you lack a name, use the swap rather than sitting the mode out. Gunsmoke weeks let you borrow an invested friend carry for a boss; that is a Platoon convenience, not a substitute for building Qiongjiu or Tololo on your own account.

V0 is enough to field a core. Do not wait for matching signatures. Do not wait for V6.

Corrosion

Carry: Klukai.
Enablers: a Support who keeps her shooting (Suomi as flex, Basti as a commonly cited Corrosion Support). Qiongjiu still belongs here if you want Action Support damage on top of Corrosion.
Budget: Nemesis as an A-tier Corrosion option; Sabrina if you are still dying to enemy turns. Peritya is lower priority filler, not a Klukai replacement.

Corrosion wants tiles and debuffs that make Klukai’s AoE cheap. If the map is a single tanky boss with no Corrosion weakness, consider Hydro or Electric instead of forcing the poster team.

Electric

Carry: Leva or Lenna — one invested, not both half-built.
Enablers: Sextans as the commonly cited Electric Support/amplifier; Jiangyu and Andoris as A-tier setup (Defense Down, cleanse, Electric count).
Budget: Mosin-Nagant until a limited Electric carry exists.

Electric cores scale with debuffs and Stability breaks. If your Leva “does nothing,” you are probably missing Jiangyu/Andoris or you are wasting the burst turn before the break. You do not need Leva plus Lenna plus Sextans as a set bonus.

Freeze

Carry: Makiatto.
Enablers: Suomi (flex shield), Alva (Freeze S-tier barrel/utility), Lotta (SR AoE). Helen is a commonly cited Freeze Support specialist.
Budget: Lotta plus any shielder you own if Makiatto is missing.

Freeze likes time: barriers, Frost setups, then the sniper shot. If the stage is a wave-clear timer, Klukai or Burn may be faster than a pretty Freeze screenshot.

Hydro

Carry: Tololo as the standard floor.
Enablers: Springfield as the Hydro Support the Phase is built around.
Budget: Centaureissi or Sabrina for survival until Springfield arrives.

Hydro is the “I played the standard banner and farmed” team. It is also the team that looks broken once Springfield’s kit is online. Do not skip Tololo because a combined list parked her in A-tier.

Burn

Carry / engine: Qiongjiu (Action Support DPS) plus Vector if you have her.
Enablers: Sharkry as A-tier Burn damage; Ksenia as budget Burn Support.
Budget: Qiongjiu + Sharkry + Centaureissi is a real team. Vector is the upgrade, not the entry fee.

Burn wants Overburn uptime. If you staff three random limiteds with no Overburn plan, you do not have a Burn team.

Flex notes (Suomi, Qiongjiu, OTs-14)

Suomi can sit on Corrosion, Freeze, and mixed survival cores. Use her where your carry dies, not on every map by default.
Qiongjiu can sit on Burn and on mixed cores that attack a lot — that is her Action Support job.
OTs-14 (Chiral Redundancy, August 2026) is Resonance: Cover/Demolition Orders plus Phase adaptation. She is a flexible fifth member, not a reason to rebuild five teams on debut week. Evaluate her as new.

Physical cores (Voymastina, Cheyanne, Daiyan, Ullrid) exist and are fine when you own the limiteds. They are a poor first plan for a standard-banner account.

Map the team to the week

A team composition is a Phase plus a finished V0 carry plus a Support who lets that carry take a tile. Five limited portraits with empty attachment slots is not a composition. Field the core you own this week; the next limited can wait until that core’s Keys are equipped.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers commanders actually search for.

What is the easiest team for a new account?

Qiongjiu plus Tololo plus Sabrina (or Centaureissi), then any usable SR. That is a real squad. Add a limited carry later. See Best Dolls and Getting Started.

Do I need Suomi on every team?

No. She flexes onto many cores, especially Freeze and mixed survival, but Electric and Burn can function without her. Do not delay a Phase carry just to own the flex Support.

Can I mix five different Phases because they are all S-tier?

You can. You will usually lose to a worse-named mono-Phase core that actually shares tiles and debuffs. Staff from the DPS and Support splits inside one Phase.

Where does OTs-14 fit?

As a Resonance fifth member who can Support or sub-DPS across Phase teams. She is new as of August 2026. Do not rebuild every core around her on debut week.

How do Platoon bosses change the team?

Bring the Phase the boss is weak to. Gunsmoke Frontline is Platoon content with daily entries, not a reason to own every limited. See Platoon and Gunsmoke.
