Updates Hub

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a live free-to-play tactical RPG, not a launch trailer. Global mobile and PC opened on 3 December 2024 for Darkwinter and 5 December 2024 for Haoplay. Steam followed on 11 February 2025. This Updates Hub tracks the version you are actually playing: banners, event dates, and the patch names that change how you spend Collapse Pieces.

Right now that version is Chiral Redundancy. Part 1 runs 27 August 2026 through 16 September 2026. Part 2 starts 17 September 2026. If you only read one cluster of pages this week, use Chiral Redundancy for the event, current banners for the gacha window, Soppo for the dual-element banner, Reunion Oath for the selector, Nemesis: Gnosis for the free MOD Elite, and patch history for how we got here.

What this hub is for

Patch notes in Exilium arrive as in-client mail, Discord posts, and preview programs. They are easy to miss if you log in only for dailies. The job of this hub is to turn those notes into decisions: whether to pull OTs-14, whether to hold tickets for Soppo, whether Nemesis: Gnosis is enough of a roster upgrade that you can skip a rate-up, and whether Reunion Oath is the real gift of the patch.

Use the pity planner before you convert Collapse Pieces. Use who to pull if you want a short answer instead of a full banner essay. Use the daily checklist so event stamina does not rot while you watch a livestream recap.

Snapshot: late August to mid September 2026

  • Event: Chiral Redundancy Part 1 (27 Aug–16 Sep 2026). New Doll OTs-14. First MOD Doll Nemesis: Gnosis. Event shop, story, and Assault Simulation sit on this calendar.
  • Headline rewards: 80+ pulls and 9,400+ Collapse Pieces across the patch, plus Reunion Oath’s 80 pulls that guarantee a selected Elite from the launch-through-first-anniversary pool.
  • Part 1 limited banners (close 16 Sep 18:59 UTC-4): OTs-14, Basti, Voymastina. Pity does not carry.
  • Part 2 (17 Sep–7 Oct 2026): Soppo dual Freeze/Burn, Loreley rerun on the same window, Reunion Oath selector still running.
  • New systems in this version: Doll MOD (Nemesis: Gnosis), Frontier Conquest, and the rotating Inverse Cipher season.

That is a dense two weeks. Returning commanders who last logged in during the 1.5 anniversary still have a full mailbox of catch-up if they actually open the event UI. Brand-new commanders should still finish the tutorial, redeem whatever is live on the codes hub, and clear the beginner banner before they chase OTs-14.

How global versions land

Sunborn develops. Darkwinter / Sunborn and Haoplay publish. Clients can stagger mail text by a few hours, but the banner clocks above are the ones to plan around (UTC-4 as posted for the current Targeted Procurement windows). Accounts never transfer. A Haoplay Steam UID will not inherit Darkwinter event progress, and a code that worked on one publisher may fail on the other. Confirm the client on official links before you spend.

Combat rules did not become a different game in this patch. Cover, stability, and tiles still decide clears more than raw levels. If a new Doll feels weak, read combat tiles before you burn a second 80-pity on a weapon. Builds live under weapons and builds and team comps. Platoon and Gunsmoke Frontline remain guild structures; they are not a second campaign you play with a friend in the same room. See Platoon and Gunsmoke for the weekly board.

Spend order for this patch

  1. Claim event mail, sign-in, and any still-live code via how to redeem codes.
  2. Unlock Nemesis: Gnosis through Gnostic Insight if you own standard Nemesis. The MOD is the patch’s free Elite track.
  3. Buy Targeted Access Permissions from the event shop before cosmetics.
  4. Decide OTs-14 versus a skip using the DPS tier list and best Dolls.
  5. Hold a buffer if you want Soppo on 17 September. Pity does not carry across banners.
  6. Farm remaining tickets with farming resources instead of panic-converting every Collapse Piece on 16 September.

If you are behind on story, do not skip the event shop to binge campaign. Chiral Redundancy’s shop and Reunion Oath are the version-limited sinks. Campaign will still be there after 16 September. The guides hub and getting started pages exist for the long climb; this hub exists so you do not spend the limited window on the wrong menu.

Check back when Part 2 lands. The banner page will turn over, the event page will shift to Soppo, and the history page will gain another row. Until then, treat 16 September 18:59 UTC-4 as a hard stop for Part 1 tickets, not a suggestion.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers commanders actually search for.

What update is live right now?

Chiral Redundancy Part 1, from 27 August 2026 to 16 September 2026. OTs-14, Nemesis: Gnosis, and the current limited banners sit in that window. Part 2 starts 17 September 2026 with Soppo.

Is Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium still in pre-release?

No. Global mobile and PC launched in December 2024. Steam launched on 11 February 2025. This hub tracks live patches, not a coming-soon calendar.

Do I need to pull on every new version?

No. This patch’s free track is Nemesis: Gnosis plus a large Collapse Piece sink. Skip a rate-up if Reunion Oath already covers the Elite you wanted from the launch-to-anniversary pool.

Where do I see older patches?

The patch history page lists launch, Steam, anniversary cadence, and 2026 banner windows so you can judge reruns instead of guessing from memory.

Do Darkwinter and Haoplay get different patches?

Content lines up, clocks can drift by hours, and codes often do not. Accounts never transfer. Play the client you bound and plan banners on the UTC-4 windows posted for Targeted Procurement.
