Chiral Redundancy in Girls' Frontline 2
Part 1 through 16 September 2026: OTs-14, Nemesis: Gnosis, and a fat free-pull patch.
Chiral Redundancy is the Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium version that landed on 27 August 2026. Part 1 runs through 16 September 2026. Part 2 starts 17 September 2026. The patch is built for returning commanders as much as for people who never left: a new Elite in OTs-14, the first Doll MOD in Nemesis: Gnosis, more than 80 pulls plus 9,400 Collapse Pieces in the version track, and Reunion Oath’s extra 80 pulls that guarantee a selected Elite from the launch-through-first-anniversary pool.
Read this page for the event. Use current banners for the gacha clocks. Use Soppo if you are already saving for 17 September, and Soppo Build for the dual-tile kit. Use Doll MOD plus Nemesis: Gnosis for the upgrade path and combat build. Use Reunion Oath for the 80-permission selector. Use Frontier Conquest and Inverse Cipher for the extra modes this version opened. Use OTs-14 Build if the kit is the only remaining question. Use patch history if you need to remember what 1.5 anniversary already gave you. Parent hub: updates.
Dates and unlocks
| Block | Dates | What actually opens |
|---|---|---|
| Part 1 | 27 Aug 2026 – 16 Sep 2026 | Story, event shop, Assault Simulation, OTs-14 banner, Gnostic Insight (Nemesis: Gnosis) |
| Part 2 | 17 Sep 2026 – 7 Oct 2026 | Soppo, Loreley rerun, Frontline Survivors, Bountiful Harvest soirée, second story half |
| Liminal Iteration S2 | Around 27 Sep 2026 (mode listed through 11 Oct) | Separate stamina sink. Not a selector. |
Commander Level 20 is the usual gate for the event stages. If you are under that, stay on getting started and the daily checklist until the shop is visible. The shop remaining open through 16 September is not an excuse to ignore milestones; Path of the Exile rewards expire from inattention more often than from a missing Elite.
OTs-14
OTs-14 is the playable debut of a Doll long-time Girls’ Frontline players already know from story. She is an Elite AR Sentinel and the first kit with the Resonance attribute: she adapts to the attributes of the rest of the squad and can function as damage dealer and support depending on who stands next to her. That makes her a flexible core rather than a single-tile specialist.
She is not free. Her Targeted Procurement shares the Part 1 window with Basti and Voymastina reruns, all closing 16 September 18:59 UTC-4. If your account already has a main you like, compare her to the DPS tier list and who to pull before you spend a 160-pity worst case. Signature weapon talk belongs on weapons and builds after the Doll decision, not before it.
Nemesis: Gnosis, the first MOD Doll
Chiral Redundancy introduces Doll MOD: a Standard Doll can be upgraded into an Elite form. Nemesis is the first. Nemesis: Gnosis is a Corrosion Sentinel who issues Prophecies and plays around Support Actions. You can switch back to standard Nemesis after the upgrade; Affinity and Covenant progress is shared.
The [Gnostic Insight] event hands out Nemesis’ Original Frame, the item that unlocks the MOD, by playing the trial and version tasks. Segment materials and her signature path (Sibyl) are fed by the version shop and MOD supplies so you can take her to high Segments without a gacha. That is the patch’s real welfare Elite. If you do nothing else in Chiral Redundancy, finish Gnostic Insight.
Corrosion teams that already run Klukai or Basti gain a long-range Support Action piece. If you have never built Corrosion, Gnosis is still worth unlocking because the Frame is free; you can park her until team comps says the tiles are ready.
Reunion Oath and the 80+80 pull claim
Marketing for this version is loud, so here is the conservative reading. The patch track itself is 80+ pulls and 9,400+ Collapse Pieces if you play the event, sign-ins, and missions. Separately, Reunion Oath grants 80 Reunion Permissions whose first guarantee is the Elite (or Elite weapon) you select from the pool covering launch through the first anniversary. That first guarantee is not a 50/50. It is a selector. Use it on a gap in the roster, not on a duplicate of whoever is on the current rate-up.
Those Reunion Permissions do not replace Targeted Access Permissions for OTs-14. They are a different wallet. Spend them in the Reunion Oath UI, then go back to gacha pity if you still want the new Doll.
Event shop and stamina
Pure Paradise / Path of the Exile tickets should buy Targeted Access Permissions and Access Permissions first, then MOD specification items for Gnosis, then Collapse Pieces and growth packs. Cosmetics and OTs-14 gifts wait. Farming resources still applies: do not dump Combat Reports into a Doll you will replace when Soppo lands.
Assault Simulation is the limited mini-mode on this version. Play it for its own currency; it is not a replacement for story stars. Hidden supply nodes exist on the event map — walk the tiles instead of only auto-battling the first stage ten times.
Part 2: Soppo on 17 September
Soppo (M4 SOPMOD II for people coming from the first game) is scheduled as the first Doll who deals Freeze and Burn dual-attribute damage. Kit page: Soppo Build. Banner clocks: Soppo Banner. If your account is hungry for tile coverage rather than Resonance, holding tickets through 16 September is rational. Pity will reset when her banner opens, so a 40-pull “test” on OTs-14 is how you arrive at Part 2 with neither Doll.
The same window also opens Frontline Survivors (limited mode), the Bountiful Harvest soirée, outfit procurement for Redline Racer / Springfield’s Stirring Mermaid / Lewis’s One for the Bunny / Alva’s Wisteria Tidings, and a Finding Soppo sign-in. Liminal Iteration Season 2 is listed around 27 September 2026 and runs a few days past the rest of the version (through 11 October on some calendars). None of those modes share Reunion Oath or Targeted pity. Play them for their own shops; do not convert Collapse Pieces because a soirée skin is pretty.
Platoon and Gunsmoke Frontline weeks continue during the event. They are guild raid-like boards, not a story skip. If your Platoon is active, keep the Platoon and Gunsmoke routine so you do not trade weekly rewards for extra event repeats you already cleared.
Remaining days in Part 1
Count backward from 16 September. Unlock Gnosis. Empty Path of the Exile. Buy Permissions. Decide OTs-14 with a full 80–160 budget or skip. Claim any still-live string on the codes hub. Then stop opening the gacha to “feel closer.” Chiral Redundancy is a long version, not a weekend. The commanders who treat Gnostic Insight and Reunion Oath as the patch, and the limited banner as optional, still have a roster when Soppo’s dual tiles go live.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers commanders actually search for.
When does Chiral Redundancy Part 1 end?
16 September 2026. Story, shop, and the current limited banners are built around that date. Part 2 starts 17 September 2026 with Soppo.
Is Nemesis: Gnosis a gacha Doll?
No. She is the first MOD form of standard Nemesis. Gnostic Insight gives the Original Frame. You can switch between forms, and Affinity is shared.
What does Reunion Oath actually guarantee?
Eighty Reunion Permissions, with the first guarantee being an Elite you select from the launch-through-first-anniversary pool. It is a selector, not a 50/50 on OTs-14.
Do I need OTs-14 to clear the event?
No. Event stages are built to be cleared with a built roster plus Gnosis. OTs-14 is the new limited Elite, not the entry ticket.
What should I buy in the event shop first?
Gacha Permissions, then MOD specification items for Gnosis, then Collapse Pieces and growth packs. Leave outfits and character gifts for last.
