Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium Guides Hub

A reading order for new Commanders, plus the combat and gacha pages you will keep open after week one.

Guides Hub

This hub is the map for Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium playbooks on the wiki. Global launched in December 2024 on PC, iOS, and Android; Steam followed on 11 February 2025. SUNBORN built a free-to-play tactical RPG where cover, Stability, and phase tiles matter more than a lucky hit roll. Use the pages below instead of hunting the same answers across Discord threads.

Start with Getting Started if the client is still downloading. That page covers publisher choice, the tutorial through SL-1-2, mailbox rewards, and the first stamina dump. If you already cleared the intro and want a specific Elite, jump to the reroll guide. Combat confusion belongs on combat and tiles. Banner math lives on gacha and pity. Resource sinks are listed in farming and resources. After Commander level 20, Platoon and Gunsmoke explains the guild layer.

Suggested reading order

New accounts waste time in three places: the wrong publisher, the wrong banner, and a stamina schedule that maxes Combat Reports while Stock Boost Bars and Transcription Conductors sit empty. Read in this order unless you already know the systems.

  1. Getting Started — Darkwinter versus Haoplay, codes, Beginner Procurement, and a first-week checklist.
  2. Combat and Tiles — cover, Stability Index, flanking, Confectance, and Tile Transformation from the Chiral Redundancy patch.
  3. Gacha and Pity — Access Permissions, 80-pity, 50/50, and why counters never share across banners.
  4. Farming and Resources — Combat Reports, Analysis Blueprints, Stock Boost Bars, conductors, and Sardis Gold.
  5. Platoon and Gunsmoke — join rules, Daily Patrol, Outpost Battles, and Decisive Battles.
  6. Doll MOD — how Nemesis: Gnosis upgrades from Standard to Elite in the Refitting Room.
  7. Inverse Cipher — the rotating five-stage puzzle season, currently around Season 15.
  8. Frontier Conquest — the Chiral Redundancy map mode that is not Gunsmoke.

Reroll is optional and sits beside that list, not in front of it. A clean beginner banner plus live codes already puts an Elite on most accounts. If you still want a named standard Doll, the reroll guide times the reset at 15–30 minutes.

How these guides fit the rest of the wiki

Guides teach how. Rankings live on the tier list hub and the who to pull page. Doll kits and loadouts sit under Dolls, best Dolls, team comps, and weapons and builds. Live banners and the August 27 Chiral Redundancy patch notes are under updates, current banners, and Chiral Redundancy. Track pity and dailies with the pity planner and daily checklist. Official clients and socials are collected on links.

Same-hub pages cross-link on purpose. Combat examples send you back to farming when a boss is a stamina problem, not a mechanics problem. Gacha pages send you to reroll only when you have not bound an email yet. Platoon pages send you to team comps when Gunsmoke asks for three echelons instead of one story squad.

What changed for September 2026

Chiral Redundancy went live on 27 August 2026. Part one features OTs-14 and the first MOD Doll, Nemesis: Gnosis. Part two on 17 September brings Soppo. The mechanical headline is Tile Transformation: overlapping phase tiles fuse instead of overwriting. Same-phase overlap is Monophase Fusion; mixed phases create Multiphase tiles such as Burn plus Freeze (Smoldering Suspire) or Burn plus Corrosion (Venomfire). Combat and event pages on this hub treat that system as live, not as a CN leak.

Banner advice still depends on your tickets, not on a single “best Doll forever” line. Limited Supports such as Suomi remain high value when they are up. Standard staples historically start with Qiongjiu and Tololo. Check current banners before you empty Targeted Access Permissions.

How to read a guide on this wiki

Every article here is written for commanders who already own the game. Steps assume you can open Settings, Personal Information, and the Procurement screen. Internal links use trailing slashes and stay on the English tree from this page. If a sentence names a resource, it also names the Supply node or shop that drops it. If a sentence names a pity number, it names the banner that owns that counter.

Skip any page whose heading does not match the decision in front of you. You do not need Gunsmoke theory on day one. You do need to know that creating a Platoon costs Collapse Pieces and that joining one only requires Commander level 20. You do not need attachment min-max while your Dolls are still under the level cap. You do need to know Commander Level gates that cap.

When you finish a guide, come back here only if you need the next topic. Otherwise keep the daily checklist and the codes hub in the rotation and let story progress unlock the rest.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers commanders actually search for.

Which guide should I open first?

Open Getting Started unless you already finished SL-1-2. After the tutorial, read combat and tiles before you spend every Intelligence Puzzle on one Supply node.

Do I have to reroll before I play?

No. Reroll is optional. Beginner Procurement already guarantees an Elite in 50 discounted pulls. Use the reroll guide only if you want a named standard Doll on day one.

Where are pity rules and current banners?

Pity, 50/50, and ticket types are in gacha and pity. The live rotation is on current banners. Plan spends with the pity planner.

When do Platoons unlock?

Commander level 20. Joining is free; creating a Platoon spends Collapse Pieces. Gunsmoke Frontline and Daily Patrol details are on Platoon and Gunsmoke.

Is this hub for the global client or CN?

Global. The game is free to play on PC, iOS, Android, and Steam. Darkwinter and Haoplay accounts never transfer. Confirm the client on official links before you bind an email.
