Girls' Frontline 2 Farming and Resource Sinks

What each material actually buys, which Supply node drops it, and how to split stamina before the level cap hits.

Farming and Resources

Stamina in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is Intelligence Puzzles. Almost every upgrade you care about after the tutorial is gated by those puzzles, by Commander Level, or by both. New accounts feel this as “my Dolls cannot level.” Older accounts feel it as Transcription Conductors and Sardis Gold. The mistake in both cases is dumping an entire week of puzzles into a single material because the first empty bar you noticed was Combat Reports.

This page is the resource list, the Supply nodes, and a split you can run after Getting Started. Combat skill still beats raw levels; if a stage is a facing problem, go back to combat and tiles instead of burning 120 puzzles on Reports you cannot equip past the cap.

Commander Level is the real cap

A Doll’s maximum level equals your Commander Level (with Neural Expansion breaks every ten levels starting at 20). Weapon levels follow a similar account gate. Campaign first clears are the fastest Commander EXP while nodes are new. After the story blocks on a level requirement, any puzzle spend still grants account EXP, but Supply Autobattle is the clean way to burn the bar. Daily activity also pays a chunk of Commander EXP; keep that loop on the daily checklist.

Do not park five Elites at the cap and then wonder why Stock Boost Bars suddenly matter. Expansion is the cap. Farm bars before you farm another 10,000 Reports you cannot apply.

Elite Dolls eat on the order of hundreds of thousands of Combat Reports to hit the current level ceiling, but conductors are the stamina hog once you start opening Helix nodes. Community math has long put Helix conductors near 40 percent of the stamina needed to “finish” a Doll-plus-weapon, more than Reports or blueprints alone. Treat conductors as a standing weekly item, not a panic farm the night a boss appears.

Sardis Gold looks abundant in week one and evaporates when attachment rolling starts. You do not need to max attachments on a story squad. You do need gold in the bank before you open four Helix nodes in one night. Weapon calibration and attachments are covered in weapons and builds.

How Supply Autobattle works

Clear a Supply stage once with the star requirement and Autobattle (Autonomy) unlocks. After that you spend puzzles and skip the fight. Yield is the same as a manual run. First clears of each difficulty also drop a packet of Collapse Pieces, so open new ranks when Commander Level allows even if you do not plan to farm that node this week.

Puzzle cost scales with the node: Report and blueprint stages often cost 10; bars and gold stages often cost 20. Higher ranks pay better per puzzle. Always run the highest rank you can Autobattle, not the one you can three-star with a weaker squad after five minutes of resets.

Event stages during Chiral Redundancy convert puzzles into event currency. That currency buys Targeted and regular Access Permissions, exclusive weapons, and Keys. While the shop still has tickets, event stages beat a third stack of Combat Reports. When the shop is stripped to leftover furniture, go back to conductors and gold.

A stamina split that does not brick week two

Until Commander 20, spend leftover puzzles after campaign on Reports and blueprints in roughly equal amounts. You need guns to keep up with HP, and you need HP to survive while you learn cover. Do not max Groza to the cap while the rest of the story squad sits at 12.

From Commander 20 to 40:

  • Campaign / event first clears first.
  • Daily Patrol once you have a Platoon (level 20).
  • Then a rotation: Reports, blueprints, Stock Boost Bars, conductors. Skip gold only while story and mailbox still flood you with it.
  • Keep one “main” Sentinel near the cap and one Support close behind. A third Doll at 10 levels lower is fine.

After 40, conductors and gold take a larger slice. Bars remain mandatory at each expansion. Reports become maintenance. If you pull a new limited DPS, do not starve the Support who makes her tiles work; team comps will tell you who actually has to be built.

Never convert the entire week’s puzzles the morning a banner drops just to “feel caught up.” Gacha tickets come from event shops, codes, and Collapse Pieces, not from Combat Reports. Pity rules stay on gacha and pity. Farming cannot buy a 50/50.

Weekly extras people forget

  • Daily and weekly Patrol inside a Platoon: Collapse Pieces, Reputation, and Construction Points. Missing Patrol is missing free currency.
  • Gunsmoke Frontline when it is scheduled: two entries a day, scored PvE, more Reputation. Build for it only after the story squad can Autobattle Supply.
  • Mailbox and codes still drop Reports, blueprints, and gold. Redeem before you Autobattle a gold node out of panic.
  • Crafting lower-tier bars and conductors upward is usually worth it. Sitting on 400 T1 bars while a Doll is blocked at 20 is a self-inflicted cap.

Chiral Redundancy’s first half (OTs-14, Nemesis: Gnosis) and the 17 September Soppo half both hang extra tickets and materials in event shops. Spend puzzles there while the shop still has Permissions. When Part two lands, repeat the same rule instead of inventing a new farm from scratch.

The commander who splits stamina looks slower on day three and faster on day thirty. Reports are visible. Conductors are not. Build the invisible stack on purpose.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers commanders actually search for.

What should I farm first as a new Commander?

Campaign for Commander Level, then a mix of Combat Reports and Analysis Blueprints. After level 20 add Stock Boost Bars. Do not empty the Intelligence Puzzle bar into one material. The day-one order is on Getting Started.

Why can I not level a Doll past a round number?

Commander Level plus Neural Expansion. Expansion every ten levels (20/30/40/50) spends Stock Boost Bars and Sardis Gold. Farm bars before you farm Reports you cannot apply.

Are Transcription Conductors really that scarce?

Yes. Helix nodes are the largest long-term stamina sink after the early game. Run Neural Survey every week even when no Doll is “stuck,” and upgrade leftover low-tier conductors.

Should I farm event stages or Supply nodes?

Event stages while the shop still sells Access Permissions, Keys, or exclusive weapons. After that, conductors and gold. See Chiral Redundancy for the current shop.

Does Platoon farming replace Supply missions?

No. Daily Patrol and Gunsmoke pay Collapse Pieces and Reputation. They do not replace Combat Reports or conductors. Join at Commander 20 using Platoon and Gunsmoke.
